Health Care Foundation President to Discuss Universal Health Care on Public Radio's 'Where We Live'.

Public radio's live news and information talk show "Where We Live" on WNPR (90.5 FM) will feature Juan A. Figueroa, president of Universal Health Care Foundation of Connecticut Sept. 6 from 9 to 10 a.m. Figueroa will talk about the proposals for universal health care in our state. He will join John Dankosky in a timely discussion on the push for universal health care in Connecticut and the plans being proposed in this year's election.

The program will look at how Connecticut 's proposals compare to other states, how they are affecting the gubernatorial election and how they promise to impact the next legislative session. Dr. Rex Santarre, professor of economics at the University of Connecticut , is scheduled to appear on the show. Also joining in the discussion will be Steve Sasala, CEO of the Waterbury Regional Chamber of Commerce, a member of the foundation's Small Business Health Care Network. A representative from the health care industry is scheduled to participate.
