Murphy calls for issue debates. Johnson responds with hostility.

Gale Courey Toensing writes, in a Corner Report article, about the call for issue debates from Democratic Congressional candidate Chris Murphy and the hostile response from Republican Congresswoman Nancy Johnson. Murphy: "With only nine weeks until the election, I want to give people in the Fifth District the opportunity to hear from me and from Nancy Johnson where we stand on the issues facing middle class families here in Connecticut." Johnson (by proxy): "There will be six debates – six more than Murphy held when he ran for re-election in 2004. This year, Murphy will have ample opportunity to explain his reckless positions...".
