Puerto Rican Society Festival of New Britain celebrates 20th year - Banquet honors Harold J. Geragosian

The Puerto Rican Society Club of New Britain marks its 20th annual festival banquet dinner on Friday, July 13. This year, the organization honors attorney Harold J. Geragosian of New Britain, a counselor and friend to the society for more than 50 years.

“Harold was very instrumental with his legal advice and his services which cleared some of the many obstacles the Puerto Rican community was experiencing in 1957, when we were constructing the building known as The Puerto Rican Society of New Britain. Since then, he has continued to be involved with the Puerto Rican community and has always come through when his legal services were needed,” said organizers Ada and Rafael Diaz.

"Harold has been a true friend to the Puerto Rican community. We would like to consider him as our hero when a hero was needed."
